Dear Anonymous

Didn't your mother ever teach you "if you don't have something nice to say, then don't say anything at all"? It seems not!

This constructive and well thought out comment was posted to my entry A lesson in Respect early this morning:

Here's the deal, if you are going to post a comment calling someone (me) a slut at least have the balls to use your name. You are nothing but an uneducated coward. And I hate to break it to you but there is a direct correlation between stupidity and being an asshole.

First off, when providing feedback on someones page perhaps you should do a little background work, no pun intended. The woman in my background image, while very beautiful and thank you for the comparison, is not me. And excuse me for a moment while I defend her image. Just because a woman chooses to pose in some cute lil skivvies does not make her a slut. What a ridiculous suggestion.

Are we now saying that every person who ever modeled in a racy Calvin Klein, Gucci or Chanel ad is also a slut?

Of course we wouldn't say that, they are being PAID to do that work.

How about anyone who ever modelled for an artistic sculpture?? Are they a slut?

Of course not! Because its artistic!

So why, would this girl in my background shot be labeled a slut? Its a true shame that a woman who has the confidence to wear anything is labeled in such a negative way. And let me be very clear! I am a confident woman and if I decide to take a photo of myself, for my blog, and prance around in my panties, then I'm going to do it. I'm a big kid now and can make my own decisions.

Come to whatever opinion you choose, because much like my opinions on here, you are entitled to them.

Now that I've wasted precious moments of my life putting "anonymous" in their place let me finish with one last comment for both anonymous and anyone else who is still reading.

Stop being jealous of people around you who are successful. Those who succeed in life, bust their asses to be that way. They don't sit around all day posting useless comments on other peoples efforts. Try one day to get off your ass and do something to better your life. Volunteer, head to the gym, help someone with their groceries, hell!, get a manicure for all I care. When you stop focusing on how other peoples lives are better than yours, and stop trying to cut them down to make yourself feel better, you'll realize great things can happen to you too!

One very final thought... directed at Anonymous. Thank you for taking the time to post your comment, it wont be deleted. It will remain on my page to remind me that even those who didn't have something nice to say still made the effort to visit my page, read what I have to say and respond. Its unfortunate that you view life through such a narrow mind, I hope you will one day broaden your opinions enough to receive some of life's true pleasures.

A lesson in respect!

OK Kids! Settle down! *starts to blinks the lights on and off* Thank you.... yes, quiet down please. Class is about to begin.

Today we are learning about how to respect other peoples boundaries, because it seems many people lack the knowledge of this very simple lesson. First and most important, when you are unsure of the other persons "comfort level" with you, you should ALWAYS err on the side of caution. When in a business related situation it is imperative that you remain professional! Just because you see a woman you are attracted to does not mean you are allowed to pursue her for 4 hours, with increasing determination.

When a woman approaches your with her hand outstretched, ready to shake yours, that is NOT a open invitation for a hug. When a woman sees you open your arms in hopes of an embrace and speaks the words "no, I will shake your hand" that is a very clear signal that she does not want your dirty, slimy arms around her.  By ignoring these two very clear signs you cause the woman to lose all respect for you and in fact cause her to find you quite repulsive.

This is not a hard lesson to understand but it seems there are a few of you out there that may require some further instruction. So for those of you who would like to continue this lesson please view the video below for some extra tips!

Theres a Federal election?! I thought I was watching footage from all the past years

With the advance polls opening today, brought to the forefront of my mind is that I HAVE NO CLUE about this election. Same bullshit, different people. I have yet to hear any candidate say anything new. And as a "young" voter at the tender age of 25 (and a half), you (all candidates), have done little to show me why I should even waste my time to come and place a check beside your name.

Lets not forget for a moment that my generation will soon be the decision makers, by excluding us you truly are alienating us. You are showing us that our opinions don't matter because we are young. Well I hate to break it to you but all this debt you are creating, all these "new" ideas and initiatives your imagining aren't going to affect my parents in the great scheme of things. They are going to affect ME and my generation.

And can you please stop wasting my tax dollars on ads and campaigns that merely say what the other party is doing wrong. Why don't you let me use my brain to decide what they have done well or poorly and you spend a few seconds explaining "whats in it for me".  And good lord!!! WHY do you have to put up so many signs!!!!! For F's Sake! A waste of $$$ and not to mention resources! Both human and natural. How much wood, plastic, paper etc are being wasted on those stupid signs. I don't need to see your name 15 times in a row to know you are the candidate for a party. Once is sufficient thank you. After all I have a fully functioning brain that is capable of connecting the dots.

I'm sad to say this may just be the first year I don't vote. I truly do not believe I can back any one of these candidates with my vote. Someone better bring a game changer to the table next time around if they hope to keep any voter confidence, or even interest for that matter.

Its April 21st, this is CRAP mother nature!

Beautiful, white and fluffy. Sure when its January maybe! I have really had enough of this white crap falling from the sky. Its approaching May for goodness sake! I was so super pumped to start my golf lessons today at Mount Paul Golf Course and then mother natures decides to have a mood swing and dump this on us. Is she going through menopause or something because shes being a total bitch!

In the beginning

Its pretty clear from my twitter and facebook accounts, I have a lot of things to say. Sometimes thoughtful, most time useless. I'll be spending the next few days working the kinks out of this blog. Editing the HTML codes and making it me!
